THE SELECTION

The Selection includes four aged wines produced in special years. Among these there are the Vigna Guardia, the Vigna Preda, the 12-months barriqué Pinot Nero and the Barbaleone. The Vigna Guardia is a Bonarda (therefore made of Croatina, Barbera and Uva Rara grapes) aged in stainless steel containers. The Vigna Preda Barbera is aged in oak casks. The barriqué Pinot Nero is aged for 12 months in French barriques. The Barbaleone (made of Barbera, Croatina, Uva Rara and Cabernet-Suvignon grapes) is barriqued in small 225 litres oak casks of French origin.
